In this audio tour a guide will guide you through the roots of the capital of The Netherlands. We will be painting a picture of the development of religious life in Amsterdam through the centuries. It started as a Roman Catholic town full of monasteries which altered its course dramatically during the Reformation in the sixteenth century: the Alteration. Until finally it became a diverse, colorful religious, humanist and atheist entity.
